No7 Skin care Range Review

no 7 skincare review

I received all these lovely No 7 goodies right before Christmas and have used most of them on several occasions.  I now feel I can give an honest tried and tested review on most of the products.

One thing I have learned and wish I had done earlier, is use cleanser and toner.  Yes it is quick and easy (and cheaper) to just take your make-up off with baby wipes.  After using No7 Soft & Soothed Gentle Cleanser and No7 Soft & Soothed Gentle Toner, there is no way I will be going back.  3 months on and my skin is looking a lot better, I rarely have a spot breakout and my skin is generally looking brighter and smoother.  These are for dry/normal skin, but they also have the choice for oily/combination skin type.  Even if I don’t have any make-up on I use it before I go to bed.

I didn’t find the day cream moisturiser extraordinary.  I have very dry skin so 30 minutes later it would start feeling quite dry again, it has a very light texture to it. I tend to use the No7 Essential Moisture Night Cream instead as it is quite a bit thicker and will last most of the day.

One product that I am a massive fan of is the No7 Heavenly Hydration Moisture Mask. I couldn’t recommend this stuff enough, especially if you are prone to dry skin.  You can either apply a generous amount to your skin and leave on for about 10 minutes before rubbing off with tissue.  Or you can leave a thin layer overnight.

The No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum was voted Product of the Year 2010 by the Consumer Survey of Product Innovation and I can see why.  Although I may not be in the typical consumer group for this product (being 25) I do feel you should start early on anti ageing products especially if you have been an avid sun lover and/or smoker over the years.  It restores the skin elasticity and you should see results within 4 weeks.  I really do love this product and I feel instant result in the appearance of the skin each time I use.

One product I am looking forward to using for my holiday in 2 weeks is No7 Triple Protection Tinted Moisturiser.  I have already tried on a couple of times and I am very pleased.  I hate not wearing any kind of foundation, but when I am in hot climates it melts and feels heavy on your skin.  This product has a slight foundation tint to it, moisturises and contains 5-Star UVA protection & SPF15.  I think this should be in every women’s handbag and a complete holiday essential.

Apart from the day cream, there wasn’t one product I was unhappy with and No7 will be my first choice for quite a few future purchases for skincare.

Carry on the good work No7
