Sometimes I like to escape the mainroad and take a walk down the beaten paths. Just when I think I have strayed to far away, I stumble across a hiden away haven. Ok maybe a bit too much metaphor, but I love independant labels and I really have found a gem. I was looking through ASOS market place and came across Jones and Jones. I am surprised I haven’t stumbled across them before as the sisters who are the name sake, derive their vintage inspired designs from the 40’s and 50’s jet set with its own quirky, modern twist and a great mix of fabrics and tailoring.
They have an online presence with ASOS Marketplace as I previously stated, but they also have their own e-commerce website and a concession with Topshop. I for one love Liberty Prints, who they have recently collaborated with and they have a lovely line of Jones and Jones/Liberty dresses.
One thing that would make Jones and Jones even more appealing to me, would be if they made their dresses a couple of inches longer, not that I hate short dresses or skirts, but I like to have that little bit extra security that I won’t accidently flash my under garments 😉
All in all they are a new favourite of mine and I have my beady little eye on a few more of their garments :
