Benefit is one of my absolute favourites for cosmetics, Benefit High Beam is part of my daily make-up routine and who doesn’t drink Diet Coke? so accepted gladly the invitation to go along to the Benefit & Diet Coke ‘Get Glam’ evening last night.
Diet Coke is setting up a whole host of fashionable collaborations, You may remember that I judged the Diet Coke & ASOS competition late last year.
The evening started with drinking special edition cans of Diet coke – which if you buy, will allow you £5 off purchases made on www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk, and a presentation by Benefit Head MUA, Lisa Potter-Dixon. Lisa highlighted the individual styles of the three fictional Diet Coke girls (the dolls shown in the second to last photo above).
These looks included a Romance Look, a Fashionista Look and a Rock Chick Look. Lisa also told us a funny little story about the beginning of Benetint. Apparently a stripper wanted a stain to put on her nipples every night – now I have a whole new purpose for my bottle.
We could then choose one of the looks to have a mini make-over, I chose the Rock chick look. A the end of the evening we walked away with the finest goody bag I have every laid my hands on. Although it was a rather heavy walk back to the tube, I didn’t mind, because inside I found Benetint, Posietint, Cha Cha tint, They’re Real mascara, The Pore fessional, Gina, Lee lee and Bella fragrances and of course special edition cans of Diet Coke.
