I have been so angry and disappointed with myself that I had no interest in the Oympics before the games started and was without any tickets. As soon as the opening ceremony ended I was engrossed, watching anything from volleyball to horse jumping to screaming at the tv for Mo. Lukes work colleague gave him two Olympic park tickets for last Saturday, so I at least wanted to walk around the place while the Paralympic was still on.
I had absolutely no idea these chaps were standing behind me until I was checking the photos and they were walking away. One of those golden moments.
I wasn’t purposely on the lookout, but I wasn’t one to turn down being sandwiched between two men in uniform while my husband looked on and happily took photos.
It was such a great atmosphere there and wish I had seen more, but hey ho, its too late now. Maybe I will learn not to be so blase about things in future.
