People Watching at LFW

I am not purposely continuing the LFW bandwagon.  I realised I had deleted these photos thinking I had copied everything over on the card.  I searched and searched for a good free card recovery software and found Recuver.  It found quite a few deleted files, but not all of them as I had already started taking photos on the card again.

I spent an hour or so people watching on day 1 and snapping people that interested me visually. I don’t really like stopping people and asking them to pose for me, mainly because there are SO many of those types of photos on the interweb. I would rather capture the scene.

So annoyed with myself I couldn’t recover my favorite photos.  There was one with a Mayoress getting into her car with her quirky assistant and a photo of the backs of some girls and their amazing embellished jackets.  Anyway no point mopping about it, they are gone, forever, into the abyss!

Have a great weekend.

What a shame about your photos! It’s the worst when things like that happen. I love these shots though and I totally agree about not taking posed photos – it makes yours more honest and they have more atmosphere 🙂

I’m not sure wearing blue eyeshadow halfway down your face is a good look (sorry!) but as long as she’s having fun and each to their own, eh?

Thanks Becky. All the photos we see are of young pretty girls in their 20s. When really there are a whole host of people at fashion week, men and gasp, ‘older’ people 😉

Not a look for me either, but fashion is for exploring and finding your own style, so if blue eyeshadow works for her, then so be it hehe 🙂

      xx

I love people watching and this seems like the perfect place to do it. Really great street photos 🙂
