Friday was the most special day in the world…. My little Eva Rae’s 3rd birthday. It feels like only yesterday that we brought this little angel home from the hospital. Now she is a little girl, not even a toddler anymore!
We woke up bright and early so we could go downstairs and open her presents. Eva has an eclectic taste in toys – one minute she is all girly playing with a doll, the next she is kicking a football around and telling me she is a boy. Her presents represented that and she got a beautiful dolls house she had been admiring in the Guildford Early Learning store (the branch has sadly closed down now) and a little lowrider red bicycle.
Eva is a huge HUGE fan of Peppa Pig, as you can tell by her Peppa Pig Next dress, which she picked out herself. I can’t find it on the website, but it wasn’t that long ago that we got it and was in the AW section. So if you want it for the little lady in your life maybe check out your nearest store.
We spent the afternoon at Peppa Pig world at Paulson park and Eva was on top of the world. I have got a fear of heights and most of the rides seemed to be up in the bloody air! there was hardly anyone there later in the afternoon so the ride operator very ‘kindly’ left us up at the top of the windy castle ride going round and round and round and round…. while I held on for dear life and my stomach went round and round… anyway, Eva had a wonderful time.
Then we went home and had Eva’s favorite (Dominos Pizza). She always gives the delivery man a huge welcome when he arrives “pizza man, pizza man, its the pizzzzaaaaa maaaaaan”. Then we sang her happy birthday and brought out her cake, which you would never guess, was a Peppa Pig cake.
The day after, my dad came over and picked me and Eva up and took us back to his house in Horsham. we went shopping and Eva got more presents and a pair of sensible black shoes. Although she is refusing to wear anything but her red wellies or pink Converse at the moment.
In the evening we went along with my Dad and stepmum to Smiths and Westerns where my sister works. After dinner the waitresses came along with a big sparkling baby belly buster and sang her happy birthday. What a lucky little girl.
