Thought it was time for another outfit post. When the weather is grey and drab I really don’t feel inspired. So bored of jackets and knitwear now. The bank holiday was booootiful so I decided to get out my new funky print pants. I keep calling my trousers pants lately! My husband is South African and he calls them that, also with all the American blogs I read. A bit worried about Eva picking it up and going to school and talking about her ‘pants’. Kids will think she is talking about her underwear and kids can be cruel.
I also high-lighted my hair myself using the balayage technique. I love the ombre and dip-dye looks, but I wanted more of a natural ‘kissed by the sun’ beach hair look. Whenever I have asked a salon to do this they always get it wrong. It always looks ‘too perfect’. Its like they are too scared to just make it a bit messy and natural. Also bonus being I am £100+ in pocket!
I laughed my head off at the photo directly above I had to include it. Mainly because I get told I am ‘so skinny’ all the time. I am most definitely a pear shape. No way in hell a straight up and down. I think people think I am skinny because I will usually wear a maxi skirt/dress or a fit and flair and hide the booty. I have a thin upper body and whenever I eat that piece of cake it settles on the derriere or top of my thighs. Whenever I try to lose weight on that area it just makes my top part look even skinnier….so I give up. I have a butt and that is that!
Unfortunately I can’t find a direct link to these trousers. The Danish brand Soaked in Luxury do not have an e-commerce website. You can find their gorgeous products at Nelly & Zalando.
