We have had our Victoria Plimsolls* for a little while now and they have been roughed up like a good pair of plimsolls or sneakers should be! Especially my pair. I haven’t been one in recent years to wear such comfortable footwear and I have really taken to them. I wore them to a couple of events and familiar faces commented how they have never seen me flat on the ground before. I do love my chunky heels usually.
What I love especially is they are elasticated! No laces needed and easy to slip on and off – which is a blessing with a fidgety and impatient 3 year old.
I didn’t have anyone to help me with taking photos for this mother/daughter shoot which is sooooo hard with Eva. I recently learned how to use the remote shooting from my phone app away from my home wifi (hence the phone in my hand). I am usually quite good at quickly hiding the phone before the shutter releases; but with concentrating on what Eva was doing and how I was standing not many photos without it unfortunately. I think I have the mind of a man sometimes, I can’t multitask.
We went along to one of Eva’s favourite spots near my house. Its just a little walk way though a grass area and has a couple of low trees that Eva likes to climb and hang from. I miss the days when you would get pleasure from simple things.
Thank you to Victoria Plimsolls for letting us pick a pair each. Once again I liked the matching idea, so I went for the Dora slip on plimsolls in Turquesa and Eva’s are the Dakota slip on plimsolls in Rosa.
Oh and I almost forgot to say they smell like strawberry’s…Mine and Eva’s. Which Eva has been fascinated by “my shoes smell like my Lotso huggin bear”. It doesn’t say it on the website, but they smell good enough to eat.
Do check out the other mother/daughter style posts if you haven’t seen them.
