The Boohoo #Dressmas Christmas Party

boohoo dressmas christmas party

It may only be the beginning of November, but last night I went to my very first 2013 Christmas Party. I love Christmas and the whole build up so I didn’t mind at all. I was quite happy to get into the spirit of things. The party was with boohoo.com and to celebrate their #dressmas campaign. You can win £500 worth of clobber by uploading a party look to instagram and using the #dressmas hashtag.

The party was held at Concrete on Shoreditch Highstreet. As per usual I was late and as per usual I couldn’t find the venue. Google Maps seems to hate me.

The party was in full swing when I arrived, with everyone enjoying Musical Bingo. Its a really fun concept! Its basically like bingo, but the numbers are swapped with songs. When you hear one of the songs on your card you cross it out until you get a line or a full house. I only went and won myself a onesie. I don’t actually own one so I was very pleased. I am actually wearing it right now as I type this.

Everyone took a turn on Santa’s knee (he seemed to be enjoying it). I was longing for Jaime (above) to hurry up and take the photo so I could get off. Sometimes I wonder if a photo op is really worth it or not?!

Clare, Amy and another girl all got a full house on the musical bingo. They had to battle it out by wrapping up a friend (or the friend wrapping up them) as creatively as possible. The crowd then had to cheer for their favourite. Claire and Jaime won themselves a Christmas Jumper each. It was hysterical.

Everyone was merry and dancing by the time I left. I was too drunk to find my bauble, but by scavenging around the Christmas tree I found Amy’s lost one. We all got a present box which I unfortunately opened on the way home to find a can of Vodka and coke. It also contained a snazzy Christmas jumper.

Big thank you to Boohoo for inviting me, I had the best time!

Ahh! This looks like it was such a fun night, I love the idea of the wrapping each other up game, hilarious! The tree with the photo baubles is so cute too, but the santa kinda makes me cringe, I hated it even when I was little! Gorgeous photos as always! 🙂
