Postcard from Syros, Greece

20140618-164422.jpg If you follow me on twitter or Instagram you would already know I am currently sunning myself in Syros. I planned to blog my trip as I go like I did in South Africa, but I only brought my phone and my camera this time.

My dad is going through some personal issues at the moment so he asked if me and Eva (Luke is at home looking after Luna) would like to join him for a last minute trip… Ermm ok!

He loves Greece and we settled on a little Island that he hadn’t visited before…the peaceful Syros.

We got up before dawn last Friday and made our way to Gatwick for a 6 o’clock flight. When we arrived in Greece we then made our way to the ferry port for the hour long journey to Syros.

So far we have made friends with plenty of cats, filled our bellies with Giros, relaxed by the beach, hired a car and toured the island – I asked to go back to the apartment as the winding Greek roads scare the life out of me.

If you want something really relaxed, not touristy, beautiful and peaceful… Syros is the place to be!

I am coming home on Friday so normal blogging will resume next week. My dad has been a brilliant style post photographer!
