Mother & Daughter Style in Monaco

We spent half a day in Monaco and I can’t say I am overly keen on visiting again. The buildings around the Princes Palace shown below was very pretty. The rest of Monte Carlo was extremely busy, much more so than either Cannes or Nice. The views of the city were breathtaking and was my favourite part of the visit

Every single shop we passed was either to do with one of the two things Monaco is famous for…Grace Kelly or the Grand Prix. I was browsing in one of the shops by the Palace and I was very obviously being followed around by one of the shop attendants. I turned a corner and along she came with me. I would spin around and look at her and she would be staring at me and shoot over a smile. I shouted at her and walked out of the shop…very off putting, I certainly didn’t want to buy anything after that. I can’t say shoplifting postcards of Grace Kelly, Monaco flags or model race cars is really my thing!

I picked the stripe tunic* and Eva picked this stunning polka dot dress*. Eva will only wear blue dresses at the moment. Pink dresses are a no go! Frills get a very expressive “yuck”. When I see a pretty pink girly dress and ask her if she will wear it her reply is “why don’t you wear it then mummy”…fair enough. These dresses were perfect for a warm day, easy to wear and so comfortable.

Those dresses are both stunning (& I’m with Eva, frills are pretty yuck!).

Oh Eva!! I love her frock and the photos of you together. Your tunic is also the nicest piece I’ve ever seen by Joules! What a colourful city, those buildings look awesome in their candy colours! Stupid shop assistants annoy me though, what a tool.

I don’t get why you would want to live squeezed into a tiny apartment in Monaco. I mean the people who live there have alot of money so they could buy a big house with a pool and all that stuff…
