This is my forth instalment for Wallis, you can check out all my Wallis perfectly petite posts so far. I had serious love for their bell sleeve top! Just a reminder, I am working with Wallis styling up pieces from their petites range every month. We already know how good their main and W collection have become over the last couple of years. They first came back on my radar in 2011 when they launched a 1929 collection (old post cringe). Then when I went to a W Collection press day and fell in love with a leather jacket, which I still wear all the time.
They are really pleased with their petites offering and want to get that message across. Brands are becoming more and more interested in getting bloggers involved in campaigns. We are not models (most of us) and I personally like to see how ladies of all different shapes and sizes style up their garbs.
Heeeeere’s Johnny! This folk (and random men on the street who tell me to smile) is why I have hardly any grinning photos. I look like a crazed psychopath! In fact the next time a random man tells me to smile, I may shoot them one of these…will soon scare them off. I always see people commenting on social media about poor old Victoria Beckham and her lack of a smile in photos. It’s probably the same reason as me.
The piece I have decided to style up this time is this black jumpsuit, which fits the utility trend. For those loving this seasons 70s vibes they also have a wide legged version. Long gone are the days the LBD was the all purpose, staple piece in our wardrobes for any occasion. The little black jumpsuit is firmly filling that place.
I styled with my corset flats, which you have probably guessed are my favourite shoes of the moment. The jumpsuit comes with a fabric belt, but I swapped for a leather one which I knotted. Still need to learn how to do that properly.
